The Uplift & Inspire Women’s Conference was founded in 2022, to uplift and inspire women across the Llano Estacado region. The U&I Conference is holding an annual conference to empower women to live their best life.

Women of all ages from various economic, ethnic and religious backgrounds. Most of the attendees are from the greater Lubbock area, but many come from throughout Texas and New Mexico. And men are always welcome! Several attended last year’s event.

U&IWC is held annually on a Tuesday in October at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center.

The day begins at 7:30 a.m. with a healthy continental breakfast. The first keynote speaker session begins at 8 a.m. with opening remarks and the U&IWC Speaker. Attendees select 4 other sessions to attend throughout the day. From 11:30 a.m. -1 p.m. lunch is served with our second keynote speaker. The Marketplace is available throughout the day, and scheduled breaks are included in the agenda. The day concludes with a cool-down session and reception.

Seating for the keynote luncheon is open seating except for sponsorships where tables are reserved.

The Marketplace is a trade show with more than 50 exhibitors that provide women with information about products and services. Attendees receive samples and information from a variety of businesses. In addition, visit the non-profit organization booths in their own area.

Yes, we partner with local hotels to get our attendees discounted room rentals. Even if you aren’t coming from out of town, book a room and make it an experience!

Yes. Continental breakfast, lunch, hors d’oeuvres and beverages are provided throughout the conference.

There is not a specific dress code for the conference, but business casual attire is what most people wear – and of course, comfortable shoes! Wearing conference theme colors is also not a requirement but is a popular choice!
